A draft, for Boundless Life
The Potluck Project
Most of us came to Boundless to find our own way. We left jobs, cities, and routines behind. Now a lot of us are scrambling to make it on our own, each building, pitching, selling, and fundraising from scratch.
Look around this community. Some of us can build any app. Some can sell anything. Some can get a room full of strangers talking. Some have money and are looking for something worth funding. Some have ideas they've carried for years.
For most of human history, nobody ate alone. Food was shared, work was shared, and children belonged to everyone. We're built for that, and most of us feel it missing.
A potluck is the simplest version of that we still have. Nobody cooks the whole meal. You bring one dish, whatever you can make, and take a plate from everyone else's. Everyone eats better than they would have alone.
What you bring
Something you're good at, or something you have. Code, a network, a knack for sales, money, an idea, one afternoon a week. Small is fine. Every dish counts.
What you take
Whatever you need right now. Help with a launch, an introduction, a first customer, a builder for your idea, backing for your project.
What we make together
Things none of us could make alone. Ideas that get built because the right people sat at the same table, and connections that outlast the cohort.
What we believe
- Cooperation over competition.
- Every contribution counts, including the unglamorous ones.
- Nobody sits at the head of the table.
- What we build together, we share.
